He didn’t say he was “cleared”. “Clear now” could’ve meant anything, including things not even related to football.

It sure could.

I interpreted it as meaning, "the way ahead is clear now," or "my path is clear now," but even if right, those interpretations don't clarify what any of it meant.

We'll just have to wait until the young man, his family, and the coaching staff feel it's the right time to share with the fan base news of what's going on.

One thing's for sure: there is absolutely no clear message from "clear now" or "I can [wait for Sep]."

I hope I am wrong but I feel like the longer this goes on without getting any kind of clarity on the matter I feel the less chance Trey actually has of playing.

He didn’t tweet he was cleared today. That was days ago.
He tweeted the “I can” today

But you act like you know he isn't going to play, and you haven't a clue. All indications are he is going to, doesn't mean he will but you comparing his situation to Bosh's is way off base without merit. GBO!!!!

I as a fan am taking the same attitude that I hope the program is, that he will not be available for duty but what a bonus if he were.

From the outside looking in zero insider info claimed by yours truly, this has all the earmarks of a young man and his family who have decided it's in Trey's best interest not to reveal anything about a medical condition that has kept him from practicing. Why would that be? If he has something that will forever keep him from playing why keep that under wraps? There's no advantage to it, just call a press conference announce he has a medical condition disqualifying him from playing again and everybody moves on with their lives. Instead if Trey has something either a disease or injury keeping him from playing but expects to be ready to play again at some point I can see benefit of this being kept from anyone without a need to know. Why let your competition know you have a bad ligament on a specific knee for example? Why let your competition know you have a condition that leaves you tired quickly or wih some other performance issue? This seems to be how he and his family are requiring this to be handled.
