I never knew Meyer was single-handedly responsible for all player development on his team. I never knew that Belichik drafted Florida players because he knew Urban would have them ready for the NFL.

maybe he's just trying to even it out for all the dummies out there that think tebow won 2 titles by himself

NBA and NFL teams draft guys all the time because they know the player's collegiate coach prepares his guys well for life in the pros.

I agree, which is why I don't see why the OP is stunned by the comment?

My point is Urby wasnt the only coach on that team. McShame is giving him too much credit for player development. Maybe, Charlie Strong and Mullen had something to do with the players being prepared for the NFL.

Not enough. But they are the first that are thrown under the bus when ish goes wrong.

Seems pretty evident that Mullen and Strong were more important to Florida than most thought.
