Team of destiny or am I crazy??

THE huge win over FL, ranked #11, 4-0 for the first time since 2003, four come from behind wins facing adversity, escaping against Appy St & Ohio U, recovering every fumble, CBJ finally getting over the hump, starting slow but finishing strong instead of vice versa, all the preseason hoopla, haters still doubting us, etc,....

Maybe its our time guys. I have this weird, but cool gut feeling that we may just be a team of destiny like in 98. I feel it spiritually...it just hit me. Call me crazy, because it does sound crazy. Or does it? lol I guess I feel this way because everything has been going our way. We are usually the ones on the short end of the stick, enduring heartbreaking losses. Now we are celebrating riveting wins.

Again, I may be eating my words come Saturday night and this be nothing but a homer pipe dream haha Ill be at Sanford stadium, cant wait. It all starts there. Win this game and anything is possible. Could this 2016 Tennessee team run the table? Destiny on our side again?

Anybody else out there have this guy feeling in your heart?

I for one do not have a guy feeling in my heart, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Usually, game 2 is against a better quality opponent (Oregon,Oklahoma, etc). So 4-0 is great, but where we SHOULD be, regardless of our botched early performances.

Let's run up the score every chance we get. Seriously. These days are not like it used to be in times past. The margin of victory plays a bigger role than it should and undoubtedly more in the polls than ever before where it comes to ranking.

This is a good thing though. We need no longer worry about being a gentleman and just running the clock out. We can start strong early and finish strong until the final whistle.

We will leave no more room for doubt.

If we win the next 3 games, the two biggest being A&M and Bama, then YES! Of course winning the SECC too!:dance2::eek:k:

It depends on the destination.

Probably a little early on SEC champs and NC talk.

Atl makes more sense. Be an interesting question to revisit in 3 weeks.

Hurd falling on the end zone fumble against ASU ranks right there with the AR QB fumbling.

If we beat Bama, then I am in.

I will say this team has been luck as f----- and should be 3-1 at best the way they played at times.

My gut says we actually beat Bama this year.

Let the Vols find a way to win a big game on the road against Georgia first, then, perhaps the Vols will have everyone's confidence

Kinda feeling it, too. If there's one thing this team has proven in 4 weeks of football, it's that we may get punched in the mouth, but we'll always deliver the knock out punch in the 4th quarter. App State. Va Tech. Florida. This team has the mentality of champions and refuses to lose, which is a credit to its leaders. Still a long season to go, but I'm starting to believe.

So long... So long I have waited for a season like this. I read this forums daily for years but never joined in until this month. I was just so hyped this season that it was time to join in celebration with my fellow volunteers fans.

This team has great great things happening. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good... For once things are bouncing our way. When we make mistakes teams don't capitalize. When they make mistakes... We usually do. Falling on nearly every fumble.

Now... We have our confidence. We just got that green scaly infection off our backs. It was in the fans minds and the players minds. They owned it. Own the expectations... This team will make yet another big statement this Saturday.
