Bama fans are truly delusional. Are even half of their 12 national championships recognized by anyone other than those clueless morons??? This was from a poster on Go Vols Extra and I thought it says it all....

they claim they won the NC in 1941 - The AP ranked Alabama 20th in the nation at the end of that year with 14 teams with better records in the top 20. Alabama finished 3rd in the SEC that year. Mississippi State won the SEC title..yet Bama claims a National title!

To all Alabama fans on this Board, do you guys realize how incredibly stupid you look to people in the know when you wear "Got 12" t-shirts? Or use a Got 12 avatar. :lol:

Somewhere there is a list of all national champions by basically every poll ever conducted. I can't remember the website, but I wanna say UT had 12 NCs according to Alabama logic. It's been a while since I've been on that site.

I think it is six. I have occasionally seen things referring to our "six" national championships, although it is not common.

Yes, this "if anyone at all ranked us #1 that year, we're claiming a national championship" stuff is getting out of hand. Washington just claimed a national championship from some poll that doesn't exist anymore AND they LOST to the team that everyone else named national champion in their bowl game.

No one is more delusional than the Bammer Nation. Nowhere, no how, know why?

Because there is nothing else to fill the empty void in the Bammers' lives. They pray to a dead coach, and worship a lying, overrated one. That's a whole lot of crazy where I come from.

I'm just glad that we don't give a damn bout the whole state of Alabama cuz we're from Tennessee.

Yeah, that's the website I was referring to. I can't find the link that shows all awarded national championships by year. That is, on one page, you see every title given out that year.

Ive lived in various parts of our great country and have experienced several different major schools and their respective fanbases. Bama is hands down the absolute worst, my greatest fear is that they would become winners again...as bad as they are when they're losing, they are one hundred times worse when they're winning. Before I moved to Houston I thought that Texas fans would be bad, but they are actually very, very cool and Austin is a very neat college "town". I just have to make the Texas fans understand that their colors are not orange and white, but brown and white. I defy anyone to convince me that color is anything but brown. They call it "burnt orange", but when your burn something what color does it turn? that's right....brown. Plus Tennessee was a university when Texas was still Mexico so there's really only one UT.

hell youd think theyd have more respect towards Tennessee than anyone else as we were the only state militia to come to their aid. Course, I drank lone star beer FREE all evening one night in '82 cause of Davy Crockett...per the barkeep

you would think, but it's the whole UT thing....they get irritated when I refer to us as UT, all in all though they're pretty cool
