Is there a free trial for Xbox Live?

Today is my first time ever playing anything above a PS2 lol and i want to know if my internet can handle Live before i sign up. Is there a such thing as a free trial? And Mycheal Rivera is a BEAST of a TE on this game

Make a new xbox live account and you should get a 30 day trial when you choose Silver account.

Doesnt matter if you bought a referb or a brand new one. When you create a xbox360 GT and set up live on your xbox, you will get a 30 day free trial. Just select that you want silver and it will prompt you to take a 30 gold trial
