since Fulmer was fired?? THink about these events that have occurred since 2008...

1. Kiffin was hired and left after 1 year
2. We have a kicker that has 2 field goals blocked against Alabama that either one would have won the game (he actually kicked both into the rear end of our O-Line)
3. Bryce Brown....
4. Too many players on the field the end of the LSU game or we win that one
5. Janzen Jackson...
6. Missed extra point against UNC in the Music City Bowl (win without going to OT if Palardy makes the XP in regulation)
7. ENd of UNC game that we won but it was taken away from us
8. Justin Hunter injury first series of FL game
9. Herman Lathers injury before last season
10. Tyler Bray injury against UGA
11. Da"rick Rogers being kicked off what was going to be one of the most explosvie offenses in UT history

Not sure how much more I can take. THere is some really bad Karma on the Hill.

Scary

Meachem missed a year. Jamal Lewis injury. Gaffney's "catch". Happens all the time.

Losing Da' Da' may be better for the team in the long run...no doubt it will hurt a little in the short term though

Bad luck and player dismissals have been magnified in recent years because of our relative lack of talent and depth.

All teams suffer attrition. All teams have breaks go against them. We've just been especially vulnerable lately.

Agree, but it seems as though it always happens to our "key" players. I wasn't jsut mentioning injuries but all the other "bad karma" plays that have occurred in the last 3 years. Completely opposite of the 1990's

My thing is that if we had a consistent run game, Da'Rick wouldn't be this big of a factor. We really need Rajion to step it up!!! He is very important.

Don't know if we're cursed or not but I do know this. I hope everyone in the country is reacting like much of our fanbase is. And this isn't directed at the OP; just didn't want to start a thread (you're welcome). But forget about us, laugh it up, pretend we're going to be the same team that's been down for a few years. Please. Then when they all get punched in the mouth, repeatedly, we'll all feel much better. Go Vols!

I have witnessed much worse than this in my 40+ years of cheering for the Vols, we will be OK, time for another player to step up, the talent is there.

yeah im almost scared to check volnation everyday bc something always happens and its embarrassing. bray beer bottles, bar knox incident, cam clear, bruce pearl (i know, i know its bball) and tyler smith incident, arnett, the recent guy that left (forgot his name already), losing our best players on our team not just losing players hurts me the most.

and while im on a message board venting why not throw in the titans...kenny britt and pacman jones enough said.

Don't forget about 1994 when our number one (Jerry Colquitt) and number two (Todd Helton) QB's got hurt...and we had to resort to playing a true freshman QB. Damn curses!!
