I've been buried in the recruiting side of things lately, so I do apologize if this is a dumb thread or if it's already been discussed ad nauseam.

Is there a list, or has it otherwise come out as far as who will get redshirt's for next season?

Not to turn this into a bash session of the former staff, but I know a number of players burned their RS with late season snaps - Will McBride prime example. Is there a list of players who kept their 2017 red shirt status?

I want to say off the top of my head that receivers Jordan Murphy and Jacquez Jones were because of injury. And DT Eric Crosby was because he needed time in the S&C. I thought I read somewhere that Maleik Gray & Princeton Fant also get 2017 counted as a RS, but not 100%.

Also, where there non-freshman who used 2017 as a redshirt? I know Jennings (if re-instated) and TKJr were candidates, but haven't seen anything official. Haven't heard anything about TKJr since his accident either, but thats another story.

Appreciate any informative responses.

I don't think Crosby or Gray played, and I thought Labruzza was injured before the season started. Murphy played, so did Jordan and Palmer.

...and needs many many more carries. Really like his potential....

Like his potential too, but both Chandler and CFA looked better last season. I think we’re in really good shape at rb with Banks coming in. Will be interesting to see how the rotation shakes out behind Ty

So far the known redshirts are:

OL K’Rojhn Calbert
WR Jacquez Jones
WR Jordan Murphy
DT Eric Crosby

But everyone else seems like speculation

According to the new NCAA Rules on redshirting that is expected to be passed at the 2018 convention and retroactive to last year a player can play in 4 games and receive a redshirt. Medical redshirts are also available for players missing 70 percent of the season due to injury. In that event the Vols 2017 reshirts would include the following:

Calbert
Niehaus
Brown
Washington
Coleman
Bailey
Fant
Blakley
Reid
Page
Bennett
Crosby
Gray
Ignont
LaBruzza
Jones

Jones and Calbert were freshmen redshirted for injuries.

Medical redshirts for upperclassmen would go to Jennings, Kelly, Kirkland and Hall.

Coach a Pruitt has been around a lot of top 2-3 talent last 5-10 years. You gotta believe he will sort out these players and put the best on the field to win and rack and stack the rest to provide back up. I would say the competition in the weight room would make for a good movie.
