This isn't going to drag out that much longer and no - Fulmer is not going to be the coach in any capacity. In fact, he's likely being shown the door himself. Of course as I've said in other threads they'll let him spin it that he wants to spend more time with the family and he was just supposed to be an interim all along.
This whole thing is a calculated strategy - believe it or not - to try to save the university a great deal of money by being able to negotiate a much reduced buyout of Coach Cornbread. I know the timing is not ideal but you have to look at it this way - it's STILL better than going through another full football season with this guy even if it takes another week or two before this is resolved.

I dont think PF can be our HC and run the athletic department at the same time. Remember, its the athletic department, not the football department.AD Phil Fulmer can become coach Fulmer again. Say Pruitt is fired in February or before Spring practice, it would be to late to hire a coach of any relevance so Phil could tag himself interim. Just a thought.
I would presume the exact opposite. If the coaches have been providing extra benefits, they sure don’t want that information out. If the University is about to get hammered, then they will want to get out in front of the announcement with the best foot forward approach. I don't see either leaking something major as the public backlash will be big either way.It seems like something would have leaked out already if it was that serious

That makes sense and I agree with what you’re saying, I guess it’s just surprising with all the different people and personnel that something hasn’t been leaked.I would presume the exact opposite. I don't think PF will have a say in Pruitt's future or who we hire if Pruitt is fired. Hell, I'd ship him off with Pruitt.AD Phil Fulmer can become coach Fulmer again.
