'Dawgs & gators best in the East. Both have 1 loss each in the $EC from West teams. 'Bama looked great kicking Clemson's ass opening weekend. They looked better in Athens. JPW is a mature, top tier QB, Saban looks like a fuggin' genius and IMHO that LSU/Alabama game is going to be HUGE (and fun to watch). West, no question.

Bama and lsu seem to be the best teams right now. So yeah i'd say the west is a little better right now. May not be the case by the end of the year. Sec beats up on itself don't forget that.
