Is The 1/6 Commission Coming?

Liz Cheney says Jan. 6 committee in discussions with Mike Pence

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) has stated that the Jan. 6 committee is in “discussions" with former Vice President Mike Pence's counsel about testifying in front of the committee.

Cheney's comment comes days after Pence said he would be open to testifying before the committee on Wednesday. Cheney said she still hopes Pence testifies before the committee, adding that he "played a critical role on January 6," she told ABC News.

Pence, who received numerous threats on Jan. 6, 2021, for refusing to certify the 2020 election results, expressed disappointment during a forum in New Hampshire on how House Speaker Nancy Pelosi booted Republican picks from the Jan. 6 committee, blaming Democrats for the politicization of the Capitol riot. During the forum, Pence declared that people "have a right to know" what happened on Jan. 6 and hinted that he will be telling his story more frequently in the future.

Liz Cheney Ends 75 Years of Modern Political Dynasties

Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney’s GOP primary defeat this week did more than just end her family’s dominance in U.S. politics dating back to her father’s role as President Gerald Ford’s chief of staff in 1974.

It also marked the coming end of a long stretch of at least 75 years of somebody from one of America’s modern political dynasties serving in federal elected or appointed office.

Since 1947, when then-Sen. John F. Kennedy came to Washington, there has been either a Kennedy, a Bush, a Cheney, or a Clinton in office. There was a two-year gap, between 2011 and 2013, when none of those families held an elected seat, but Hillary Clinton was the secretary of state for President Barack Obama.

'It's Tarantino-esque': Bill Maher PRAISES 'Mr. Evil' Trump for Purging 'eight of the 10' GOP lawmakers who voted to impeach him - including Liz Cheney - and calls his maneuvering 'impressive'

Real Time host Bill Maher has offered grudging praise to Donald Trump, saying the former president's ability to purge the Republican Party of political enemies in primary season has been 'impressive.'

'Eighty-five percent of the people Trump endorsed won: 151 out of 178,' the commentator said on Friday's episode of his HBO show, referring to GOP candidates Trump endorsed in primaries.

'Say what you want about Mr. Evil, but boy, what a politician. I mean, that's impressive -- in an evil way, but still, impressive,' added Maher.

'There are 10 members of Congress who voted to impeach him and he vowed to knock them off -- it's so Tarantino movie, he's going to get all 10! He got eight out of 10,' he noted.

Cheney says she spoke with Biden after primary loss: 'We had a very good talk'

"I did hear from President Biden," Cheney said. "We had a very, a very good talk. A talk about the importance of putting the country in front of partisanship."

Lol. Hey Liz have you ever thought about investigating the Big Guy and his crackhead son? No? Did they get the playbook from your daddy and Halliburton?

DOJ sends fresh grand jury subpoena to National Archives for Jan. 6 documents

The Justice Department reportedly sent the National Archives and Records Administration another subpoena this month seeking documents for its sprawling inquiry of the Jan. 6 and the Capitol riot.

At least two subpoenas have been issued by the DOJ, including one on Aug. 17 and another earlier in the year, demanding the same assortment of documents the National Archives gave to the Jan. 6 committee, sources told CNN. The latest subpoena, which was approved by a grand jury, reportedly includes demands for documents from before and after the Capitol riot by the end of August.

Alec Baldwin is being sued by the family of a Marine killed at Kabul Airport in Afghanistan last year after publicly shaming his sister for attending the Capitol riot.

It is the third time the family of Rylee McCollum, the fallen soldier, has attempted to take action against the star. Previous attempts have been dismissed due to errors in the filing process.

In the most recent version of their lawsuit, Roice McCollum - Rylee's 23-year-old sister - shares some of the online abuse she received after Baldwin put her on blast.

Actually, there was so much speculation about pelosi and why she wouldn't take on trump, she was required to turn over tax records for her and her husband for evaluation. at this point she is in the clear.

Anybody else find it hilarious EL has China Joe with a beard in the avatar like Kris Kringle but the skeletor character that is Biden has never had a beard in his life. These phony characters they give to themselves make them look like they are creating 1950's style Godzilla movies. It's like watching The Three Stooges with a man in the gorilla outfit. Gorilla Joe.

Democrat-Aligned Org. Caught Paying TikTok Influencers to Spread Lies About Jan. 6

If you needed any more evidence that the left is desperately worried about the upcoming congressional elections, this should satisfy you. Preston Moore, an attorney and TikTok influencer who discusses news related to legal issues, posted a video explaining how a nonprofit organization called the Good Information Foundation offered him cash to cut a video in which he would perpetuate disinformation related to the riot at the U.S. Capitol Building on Jan. 6, 2021.

I was just offered $400 to make an anti Donald Trump propaganda post related to the January 6 investigation. That is completely not true. I should start out this video by saying I’m not a Donald Trump supporter. So that should give a little bit of context to where I’m coming from. I’m an attorney. I post legal news and analysis on related topics. Okay, here we go with the story. So, first things first. I get an email from somebody with the Good Info Foundation.
The attorney went on to recount how an individual he referred to as “Jane” reached out to him to offer a “paid collaboration to discuss some topics related to January 6th.”

Whistleblower Alleges FBI Schemed to Distort January 6 Cases into Nationwide ‘Domestic Violent Extremism’ Epidemic

A whistleblower has accused the FBI’s Washington Field Office of using cases related to the January 6 U.S. Capitol riot to “overstate” the threat of “domestic violent extremism” in America, according to Judiciary Committee ranking member Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH).

The whistleblower alleged the FBI office did not follow standard investigative practices for the January 6 cases when it moved the cases to various local Field Offices around the country based on where the case subjects were from, Jordan revealed in a letter addressed to FBI Director Christopher Wray on Monday.

January 6 cases “should all be officially led by the WFO [Washington Field Office] and categorized as WFO cases,” according to the letter, but instead, a “task force” dispatched instructions to open January 6 investigations to local field offices nationwide.

Those local offices received the cases, making it look as if they were conducting the investigations on the cases, when, in reality, the Washington Field Office continued to conduct the bulk of the work, according to the letter.
