Is that the smell of burning pants?

The powers that be in this program can't even manage to agree long enough hire an AD with the obvious choice a few hours down the road.

I can't imagine them trying to make an actual decision on Jones.

I don't see Jones going anywhere until that situation gets cleared up and the upper decks in Neyland starts thinning out.

With a new QB and replacing their best RB and WR to go along with flipping half the coaching staff, I think expecting a title next season is a stretch when you throw in Jones' four year track record of bungling games with poor game management and an inability to have his teams consistently show up.

I actually see CBJ getting another 3 to 4 years

he has retooled his staff

and yes, they need some time,to get and coach up there players

it would be a bit foolish for the new AD to fire a decent coach, who's team was plagued big time by injuries last year

should CBJ have somebody review his comments for broadcast ? hell yes :)

he isn't a good uuh spoke person at all ,to much coach speak(and yes,I watch them all)

a little better defense last year, would have went a long way and we all do know the amount on injuries there

so I don't think that CBJs seat is even warm.other than among the fans

Couldn't agree more. If you look ahead at recruiting this Fall there is about 14 kids in-state that are 4* and possibly 5* by their seasons end. We get them and then finish out of state strong Butch isn't going anywhere.

i do not think all these people stepping down at the top all at once was random ..i think number 16 is under center and is moving the ball down the field. if Fulmer is the new AD he will only have one man to beat to the end zone.
