UT has multiple SEC championships.

yeah ut has one sec tournament championship since 1939 and 4 all time with the last one being 1979. impressive history. that said this is pearls chance to take ut to the final four and get some much needed
credibility so we can recruit with kentucky, kansas and carolina.

I think that's really the key for us: Until Pearl can recruit with the big boys and convince kids that UT is a viable National Championship contender then we'll always be just a "good" program not a great one. Calipari doesn't have to work that hard at Kentucky because it's Kentucky. Can Bruce get the John Wall/Xavier Henry type of guys or is that even something he is capable of doing? Cal does it but makes no bones about it....What do you guys think?

I'm not so sure not making it past the Sweet 16 to Elite 8 is the same as winning a national title.

This...Bruce Pearl should not be comparing himself to Coach K...
