Is Pruitt the answer?

I just want to know where in the HELL all of these threads were after CBJ went 5-7 and 6-6 in his first two years???

Can someone please tell me why a guy like LYLE JONES received everyone's patience and understanding?

IDIOTS....just a bunch of moronic freakin' IDIOTS! Every last one of you who are raising crap about CJP in YEAR 1!!!!!

We were still naive, and believed “we’ll get’em next year”.

Next year never came.

Here’s the result.

Sometimes you just can’t motivate someone. Sometimes people refuse to be coached up. If both of those were the case then it’s hard to blame Pruitt.

We really need to see results next year to get any kind of accurate judgment.

With all that said, it still amazes me we didn’t go 3-9. It also amazes me we lost so soundly to so many teams... especially Mizzou and Vandy.

You saw a defense constantly “out of position”. Conversely, I saw a defense most of the year, including yesterday, in good position, but physically unable or emotionally unwilling to make a tackle. Either one is completely unacceptable, but at least, from my perspective anyway, the players were oftentimes in the right position to make a play, they just never did.
I saw the same thing.

Spot on.....CJP had nothing to do with the train wreck that was the previous 10 years. Just because his predecessors couldn’t get it done doesn’t mean he can’t. He deserves a chance and some time.

NO. I made that decision after the USC game. Keller should have played that entire game.
With a poor O Line, the QB needs a quick release and quick decision making. JG has neither a quick release nor quick decision making
Pruitt didn't go with the odds, but he hoped to win with JG and we lost, thus we having a losing record and no bowl game appearance
A good coach, plays their best players. Not Pruitt

There were plenty of threads questioning BJ. No reason to call anyone names, questioning whether Pruitt is the guy is fully warranted after watching this season.

Short of winning 10 with the circus he started with, you wernt going to answer that in year 1. He could win 8 or 9 next year and still not totally answer it.

Jesus is this thread for real?

We don’t see eye-to-eye on a lot of things, but we are in full agreement here. Guy hasn’t even been on campus a full 12 months yet.

With this kind of thread, good thing Bama didn’t throw in the towel on Saban after all he could do was match Shula’s 6-6 record and lose to UL-M.

BREAKING NEWS from Rahtouta Mahrear Networks

In an unprecedented act, University of Tennessee President Joe DiPietro and Athletics Director Philip Fulmer, with the blessings of a small majority of UT Trustees, have announced the shut down the football program in hopes of being able to cycle the current culture of players out and begin anew, in two years, while also beginning a healing process across the state. The UT officials are currently looking into other programs to help place assistants to relieve the buyout burdens, as well as granting transfers to any player requesting such. Underclassmen deciding to stay will have their scholarships honored.
It seems the distress of some fans has created major influx of health issues, (reportedly ranging from minor bruises as a result of punching and/or kicking objects to heart attacks and mental anguish), in counties statewide.
As a result of the recent and massive uptick in “Decade of Despair Syndrome”, ( DoDS, as it has now been labeled), it has been thought best to put the program on a two year hiatus and allow fans time to heal.

Domestic violence and assaults were also a deciding factor in today’s decision. Women across the state have been left no choice but to kick out the men they had once cared about so much. Many reports of women throwing men into the streets begin to surface in the past few weeks as investigators discovered the reasons despondent men, apparently not even knowing each other have been fighting in the streets.

The program will retain Head Coach Jeremy Pruitt

If you know or suspect anyone suffering from DoDS please reach out to the DoDS hotline for a scheduled intervention.
It may save a life, it saved mine.
