Is our defense close to Alabama’s?

We’ve looked good so far on defense. But to win this weekend, I think we’ll need a defense that can hold Florida to under 30 points. Which would mean defending them at least as good as Alabama can.

If our offense can perform as well as Alabama’s, then we have a shot. And considering the let down Florida will be coming off of having lost to Alabama after such a hard fought effort, I believe it could be possible.

So the question is can we play better than Alabama did against Florida? Simple answer, no. They're number 1 in the nation coming off a national championship. We're coming off a 3-7 year.

Is 50 close to 10? Also factor in the have played two ranked teams. We have played 2 terrible teams and 1 below average team.

We will give up our share of points, but thats because our offense is high tempo and extends the number of possessions per team.

I didn't watch, but a drive or two of the game, but I'm stunned Bama gave up so many points to Florida. I dont see them as efficient or very good passing team. I think the adrenaline gave them an extra boost playing at home. That and Bama's defense must not be as good.

Personally, I think if we can get out front and have Florida play catch up we could do well. Force them to throw. If we can do that I think we will match up way better than most will give us credit for.
