I've seen this question asked a couple of times but haven't seen an answer. Is he 100% back from his knee injury? When did it happen? Some say he is not the same back pre-injury. Is this because it has not fully healed yet and he is still playing scared?

Thanks.

November of his Junior year. no, not 100% yet.

could be physical or mental or both. some take a long time to get back both physically and mentally from these things.

Can't athletes enroll in summer classes and then be able to do workouts/see trainers? Would this be an option for Lane? His tape pre-injury is very impressive and it would be nice for him to get back to 100% asap.

that is an option depending on where his academics are. sure they will want as many signees as possible here in June

Although he played in 5 games ths past year, check out his stats! He is still and will be a beast for us!

Since his Rivals page compares him to A. Foster, that's what I'll hope for. Of course without the fumbles. :)

BTW, Lane better bring it when he gets here because T. Smith is gonna give him all he can handle imo. (no homo)

IMO to come be full healthy not only physically from an ACL takes at least a year especially in a sport like football where being able to cut and plant is crucial...

Lane played in 8 of Mainland's 11 games this year. I went back and looked at the box scores for those games, and he finished the year with 457 rushing yards and 3 TDs on 94 carries (4.9 YPC); the local paper reported his final numbers as 105 carries for 521 yards (5.0 YPC).

As a junior, Lane rushed 147 times for 1,088 yards (7.4 YPC) and 9 TDs. He finished his sophomore year with 758 yards rushing and 12 TDs on just 69 carries (11.0 YPC).

Wow, that is an astonishing drop off. I hope that is not indicative of what is to come.

Obviously Lane is not where he was. Not only did his numbers drop off so much, but his health/injury status was the reason the recruiting services dropped him so much in the rankings.
