Is Madden 2006 worth buying

Hey Folks,

I have NCAA Football 2006 for PS2, but I'm getting bored building up dynasty after dynasty. Are there enough new features in Madden 2006 to spend the $$$ on it?

Madden 2006 isnt that great. The new addition of "qb vision" makes it even worse

It's not bad. It does play a lot different than the college game. It's really nothing super special but it's a good game.

Turn off QB vision and it's alright... I like the preplay options better on Madden. There's a lot more you can do. But the actual gameplay, I like NCAA better. Feels faster, more fluid.

NCAA is better just like the reality of football. I enjoy :dance2: college football better than I do The :gun: NFL. So the game :huggy: NCAA 2006 is better, faster. and your skill players can cut quicker than the players on :gun: Madden 2006


:gun: NFL doesn't gets interesting until playoff time :dance2: . Every week of the college season is interesting :bow: !

I agree about the speed of the game in NCAA compared to Madden... Madden seems slow.

I prefer NCAA 06 to Madden, but I have always like NCAA more. I own both, and yes I would say that both games are worth the money.

Yeah. If Madden played faster, I would have to give it the nod over NCAA becuase of what you can do with audibles, hot routes, adjusting schemes at the LOS, etc.

EA has lowered the price of current gen Madden to $29.99 now. Not a bad price to pay. Not exactly my favorite game, but it's ok.
