Is Kiffins sway telling the recruits that they could play early. I spoke to a friend and he told me that Kiffin is telling Marlon Brown, Teauge, Myles, Pearlie graves,Pat Patterson that they will play early and may start if they come to Tennessee. I know that he said in his presser that it is up to the players to earn their PT, but fwih he told brown and them they could play early. sorry if this is a stupid question.:good!:

yes i believe that is a big thing he is telling recruits that gets their attention and is honest. i like the fact that we will be starting talent no matter what age.

He's telling the recruits the same thing he told the players and the same thing he told the fans in the press conference - every position is open and will be determined based on performance and not seniority.

The better the recruits the deeper the rotation can be. Therefore a better chance of playing time. The deeper the rotation the fresher our kids will be in the fourth quarter. I like it.

Is Kiffins sway telling the recruits that they could play early.... they will play early and may start if they come to Tennessee.... brown and them they could play early.

telling a kid he will get a chance to play early and he has a starting spot are 2 totally different things

Well the right thing to do is to tell them to earn their chance to play. Not go ahead and say they're set to play early. Doesn't surprise me with Kiffin.

You hate the guy irrationally for stuff you don't even know if he said before he's even coached a game. I love it.

Telling a kid he has the CHANCE to play early is putting the rest in the kid's hands.

Splittin' hairs dude.

Kiffin probably sees those players as the best talent he will have available at the positions he's discussing.

Keep in mind, Kiffin is the same guy who told Boyd to take a hike. This is NOT Saban-like smoke he's blowing.

Remember... one man lies to serve his own interest... one man tells the truth even if it hurts.

Who would you believe?

Most importantly, I love the way he's heating things up with the Tide. UT is coming back to the ranks of the elite... and Saban knows it.

All positions are open except one. The real Superman has that one! This is a real coaching staff and the best players will play.

You are DUMB. He said in his presser that there is a clean slate and everyone has to earn thier way. This is what he is telling the recruits. And by the way I remember a certain coach telling someone .....Jarvis (cough) Giles (cough)......... that he WILL be able to come in and contribute immediately. So don't come on here and try to act like you or team could even sniff something that is close to ethics. You have the slimmiest coach in football and he can't even succeed in Columbia using the most bush league tactics possible in coaching/recruiting...... you name it.

Your coach would have never done what Kiffin did for Boyd. He just pulls stunts like he did with Davis. Don't ever act like you know what is ethical again. :the_finger:

I think more than anything he's trying to change the culture of TN recruiting.

How many times have we seen guys sit the bench here, then make it in the pros?

Other schools know that and I think Kiffin is trying to energize recruits with the prospect of playing early because frankly Fulmer didn't really adhere much to that (in rare exceptions).
