Is Jordan at 1st team RB a surprise?

you saying people are MORONS is like Yoda making fun of someone who is green!!! Try to proof read things before you hit post reply, try using some sort of structure so us civilized and educated people can understand what they hell you are trying to say.

Dude... you almost had it.

I like the idea of running back by committee. Power running in the first half then get the ball to T. Chandler in space. He always makes the first or second guy miss. Maybe even more so when they are worn down.

Ty Chandler is Cadillac. And although Cadillac had more success in college, Ronnie Brown went higher than him in the draft.

I always felt Ronnie Brown was better. Cadillac just had more college success cause defenders in college are smaller. Remember Cadillac got hurt pretty quickly in the NFL because of his slight build.

Similarly, I doubt Ty Chandler has much success in the NFL because of his wiry build.

Tell us how many practices, game tapes, SC workouts, etc...you have witnessed? Have you broke Cornbread with CJP?

When is your preseason prediction thread coming out? (Not being sarcastic)

From listening to media, I thought it was likely Chandler with Madre having a slight chance to beat out Chandler.

No not surprised at all based on his performance during the Spring game. He’s tough inside runner. He looked better on a few runs than Chandler.

Just win! I’ll let Pruitt be the judge of players on the field. If Jordan had that good of a camp, congrats and hope that shows up on the field. A running game that draws the defense away from the passing game would help us a lot and give our QB valuable seconds to throw the deep ball.

That's right.

Jordan and chandler have the potential to be the next great RB tandem in the sec. Similar to Chubb and Michel last year for georgia. Now I know that’s a huge comparison, but that’s why I said they have the potential to be the next great tandem. Jordan brings a physical running style while chandler brings a little bit of everything to the table. I think they could wreak havoc on opposing defenses this year, as long as our o-line stays healthy!

All this depth chart means is we are getting ready to ground n pound. We'll pull a guard over behind Trey consistently, in and out with fresh legs and just literally beat down, to the point of utter exhaustion, that side of the WVU line by middle of 2nd quarter. Identify the weak link and exploit the hell out of it. Ball control, clock control, get Guarantano comfortable and in a groove to open it up later in the game.

For some reason, I am excited to see what Jeremy Banks will do. Kid seems like a stud and from what I have heard, he has had an exceptional off season in the weight room.

Ty is the RB that makes the most impact. Ty has shown he can play in the SEC, if you want to deviate from this the so be it but Ty C , is a hoss and doubt him if you will but this man is on a mission. Hate to say this but when a coach is as high on a kid (who unlike these armchairs don't know how to evaluate talent) then good things happen.

Whew. And we thought Butch was a cliche machine!

I just don't see any scenario TC isn't the starter. I could be so wrong but this kid has worked his tail off in S&C this spring and fall camp. I could be totally wrong and probably am but this kid has a drive and in MHO will succeed as our best back. No agenda, just stating facts from what we've learned about the team.

I bet UT runs the ball 30 plus times from the RB position. That likely means around 12-15 carries by 1 back, 10-12 by another and 6-8 by a third. Prob doesn't matter who starts. If game is close in the 4th the lead dog will get the bulk of carries and should be fresh.

And I’m good with that. I’m hoping to keep our QB under 20 attempts unless it’s absolutely needed.
