I believe he's done. Medical scholarship and just finishing out his time at UT as a player/coach.

Just going from the wording of statements concerning Young, it seems to be a significant neck injury. And though I haven't yet heard the words, "his playing career is finished", it generally seemed like a return might be a high risk.

Too bad. I was waiting for the, "Mighty Joe Young" references to be unfurled.

I believe it has been mentioned in the RF that his playing career is over and that he serves as a player/coach for the team now.
