Is Genesis (by Justice) a new tradition at Neyland?

As the defense just came onto the field I heard the song Genesis come over the stadium speakers and the crowd really seemed to react. I've heard it a few other times on TV for games at Neyland - is this a new 'thing' or just a random top-40 song being played? It's a great pump-up song

Did anyone notice the band was playing circus music at halftime last week, Tell me that wasn't fitting.

It's the music for the men's basketball team's commercial. The one where they show highlights of past teams mixed in with this year's team and Bruce comes on at the end. I haven't noticed the song being used for the football team as well.
