we weren't decent last year. We were awful and got some serious gifts by shoddy teams at the end of the season.

I dont know about awful but I will agree about getting gifts from the other teams. The only problem if we get those gifts again this year. Fulmer will be back next year.

We really aren't that different from last year this year. The difference is no senior quarterback. We weren't very good last year, and this year we don't have an offense that can bail us out at all.

had we played Auburn or LSU instead of Arky, we likely wouldn't be talking about Fulmer any more. We were the beneficiary of failure on the part of UF and a weak schedule against the West (on top of the gifts on the field). Our team was awful on D, though it did get a little bit better. It got much worse on O and laid down in almost every second half we played.

I thought a Crooming was when someone lost to Croom that really isn't supposed to or was percieved not supposed to that it got the coach fired? If thats the definition the jury is still out until the final score but yes there could be a Crooming this weekend.

Your definition is the correct one.

anyone think there is a chance of an immediate coaching change if we lose this game considering that Clemson just dropped the axe on TB?

This is the definition I was going for.

I agree but there weren't many giving us a chance vs Ark either after the year before (and the fact Chavis was on the sideline).

Losing to MSU is not going to get him fired, so the answer is no.

You gotta wait for losses to Bama and either KY or Vandy to have a chance at getting him fired.

Wow, this poll has really changed since last time I posted in the thread. It went from almost 50-50 to now 55 -45. That says volumes about the sad state of affairs this program is in. Who would've ever thought the majority of us hardcore Vol fans would think its ever possible for us to lose to St.?

It basically will... because it will mean we will be winless in the SEC at the end of the year barring a miracle.
