With the horrible and I mean horrible play by Crompton means Stephens isnt any better. Does this means it will be Brays job to lose?

Bray has to sign the LOI first.

Anything can change with the verbal commitment.

if he comes. he changed his comittment once he can do it again. especially if he sees the fans continually bash Crompton

insert Chris Simms name. Before you assume he is a vol he needs to sign the dotted line.

no; and honestly the level/number of mistakes he'd make as just being a freshman QB would probably put him at near-same level as stephens till maybe near the season's end

I think that Bray is going to be a bit of a project. He will definitely have to get stronger and gain some weight to be able to survive in the SEC.

You know you're in a bit of a hole when the starting QB job appears to be in the hands of a HS Senior who hasn't even signed yet. :pinch:

Seriously though we have seen what Stephens could do last year but we still have a black box in Lamaison, granted that he could bomb just like everyone else, but still at least it would be a little more fresh.

but witout a line he cant do jack nor sh*t

Exactly. I hope that we can get a few JC big uglies that can help out. We are looking a little thin on the OL next year and it would be hard to put freshmen in those roles.

Manning and Ainge may have been near the same weight but I do not think that Bray is as far along as those two were. I think he may end up being a fine QB, but I think that its hard to pin our hopes on a true freshman.

What about some of the juco lineman out west? I dont like the thought of Jose Jose starting next year. :/

Hopefully Cullen. Seems to like Utah right now, but has yet to visit UT. Leifheit is a big ole boy and might play some as a frosh should he come here.
