for the announcement of Bryce Brown's college decision? I am going to be there for sure. I live 5 minutes away. I will do my best to keep everyone here updated via blackberry. So...anyone going? I think I am feeling orange on this one guys...Go Vols!!!

Haven't decided for sure if I am going... if I have a warm fuzzy feeling that he is going to pick the Vols I will be going for sure. I live in NE Wichita, have they announced what time he will be announcing, I have to imagine it will be sometime around mid-day.

sweet! I live in NW Wichita. Close to Maize. I think I heard around 3:00, but am not for sure. Would love to meet up there. I will post it on here if I hear anything for sure. Maybe we can get some guys to go to the Anchor in Old Town and celebrate afterwards...

That would be sweet aaron...from everything I have heard (mostly rumor and idle conjecture) he is leaning heavily towards Kiffin and Co.

If I lived closer than a thousand miles away, I would be there with ya.

I live Southwest of Indianapolis (about 15 wiles West of Bloomington). Anderson is Northeast of Indy, but I have done a lot of work in the past there at the old ABC Rail company...small world!!!

If I didn't have a life and got thrills from high school players acting like professional athletes calling press conferences, then yes...I would be there. But instead, I came into work today. Go Vols.

not sure that was necessary, but whatever floats your boat. if you call trying to lessen a fellow fan's enthusiam having a life, then congrats to you sir! what a life to have! GO VOLS!

I am actually at work right now. I do have a life, a good one, one I enjoy. It is a beautiful day today, 78, sunny, windows open...ahhhhhhh....nice. Bryce is a good kid. good head on his shoulders. He is trying to make the best decision for him and his future. I will support that as best I can. I am going not because I get thrills off of the kid, but because from what I have learned about Wichita they put out some remarkable backs. I have heard that Barry Sanders may be at the signing. So, if I can go on my day off, watch BB sign with Tennessee, run into Barry Sanders, and maybe go and hangout iwth some fellow Volunteers afterwards...I consider that a worthwhile 5 minute drive. Once you see the kid play live like myself, you woudl be very impressed. I dare say, once he runs through the T a few times, you applaud the fact taht a fellow Vol was there on that day.

Not trying to dampen his enthusiasm. He asked the question if anyone else is going. I simply responded by stating my responsibility is working and contributing to the economy, not contributing to some young man's 15 minutes of fame. Commitment announcements have gotten out of control. My life is good, especially with a young Vol on the way. There are more important things than salavating over high school players. Go Vols

Good point! I guess since the smokers get there 15 minutes on every hour to get out of the office to fire one up, I use mine to stay up to date on Vol News. That is my excuse.

Like posting on a message board, and adding to the economy.... in whatever way that adds to the economy. Which I can't think of at this moment, but maybe you could enlighten us.

Yeah...non-smoker here. I spend lots of time on VN during the day....when I am not being productive, of course :)
