I have always been able to pick up Vol broadcasts on 1510 am out of Nashville, but couldn't get the UTM game this year. This is a big station; 50k watts and reaches from Florida to Michigan----after 7pm. Dang, I hope they haven't droppped the Vol network. Anyone know if and why? Thanks, I will hang up and listen.

104.5 the zone also picked up the Titans from their sister station 103.3. They used to broadcast Vandy games but Vandy moved to a rock station 97.1 and 104.5 picked up everything UT. They have vol calls and Hubbs and others do a lot of interviews on there now.

Well that sure helps the hell outta me, when traveling ANYWHERE in the SE, I could always get the Vol Network. Obviously I can't get the FM from 400+ miles.
That change thing------------I HATE it!! :banghead2:

Yes, my boy. Used to be all we had. WLS in Chicago----anyone remember that rock station? Came in crystal clear in East Tennessee. LS was it.
AM is now sports and talk radio.

650 am out of nashville is a classic country station. lot of power after dark

I was listening to WLAC on the iheart radio app last year for Vol Calls and games when I had to. From what I can tell, even the stations that now carry the game are not allowed to broadcast audio online. Only UTSports can do that and it doesn't work on the iphone.

Does anyone know of an app or site that works on an iPhone for the Vol Network?

I bought the WunderRadio app last year and there are some stations that I listened to basketball games on last winter. I haven't tried to listen to a game or vol calls in a while. I can confirm that it works this weekend before you bother buying it. (Kinda pricey)

We use get WLS reception after dark in NW MO. in the day. They had a talk radio guy whose name escapes me, cracking me up all night. This was in the 70's 80's era.

Thanks, that would be great. My son has his first HS baseball game tomorrow at 1. My other son is on 2 teams and games start in a week for him. I've considered flotv.

In cases like that, I DVR the game and avoid all media until I can catch up.

This has messed me up too. I could get WLAC after dark in Baton Rouge. But I know of no other Vol Network station that I could get. Birmingham? Memphis? Atlanta? Dunno. :hmm:

Do let us know about that Wunder Radio. I have thought about getting the Superadio or the CCRadio with its integrated ferrite antenna. Will try to come up with something when game aint televised.
