Not true. Israel has broken the rules several times since they do not want a cease fire. It's why the US should break ties and supportAnd each time I am aware of, it has been Iran firing the first shot, yet our resident “wAR CRimEs” crowd is nowhere to be found.
It is almost like their opinion changes based on whether Israel is firing shots, or if Israel is being shot at.
So your last post said they attacked our stuff to justify our response on hitting them. Now your saying it's Israel attacks? You aren't making sense
Ah, the "frequency and scope" argument here. That's really ridiculous considering the frequency and scope with which Israel violates ceasefires in general
and the one in Lebanon in particular.
I don’t think he is or has advocated for that based on his prior posts. Like most others on here, believe he has been opposed to this exercise and was just stating if that was the goal, you would have to be all in, boots on the ground, the works, knowing JUST air strikes aren’t going to dislodge the Iranian leadership.Proper regime change eh? That’s double talk for boots on the ground if I’m not mistaken.
If you had a son or daughter in the military, would you be willing to potentially sacrifice their life for this stupid war in Iran?
Sorry, neither one proves your point. Israel didn't stop bombing during the Lebanese ceasefire. I think the word you're looking for is 'worse', not 'better'.Ah, the "frequency and scope" argument here.
"Israel did it more, and better!"
You mean the particular one that called for a cessation of hostilities by Hezbollah, and control of the pilot zones, (including non-state actors, i.e. Hezbollah) by the Lebanese Armed Forces?
The one that Hezbollah said, "Nah, we are good still waging war, we don't care about your stinkin' ceasefire." That particular one?
Pretty sure both your points just proved my point.
Israel does it, and does it better, Israel is bad and should be punished. Iran and Iranian proxies do it, and it is to be excused, because, well, Israel does it more, and does it better.
Sorry, neither one proves your point. Israel didn't stop bombing during the Lebanese ceasefire.
like said, even the Lebanese want this trash taken out.Tell me again when the ceasefire ceasefire in southern Lebanon started, and when Israel violated it by continuing to bomb.
I contend the ceasefire was to start when Hezbollah stopped firing and removed their operatives from southern Lebanon. Did that ever happen? If not, there was no ceasefire in Lebanon for Israel to violate.
Source: Israel, Lebanon agree to conditional ceasefire
Nice deflection from your failure to condemn Iranian/Iranian proxy attacks on Israel, and, by the way, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the US. Not sure why Iranian fire on Bahrain and Kuwait is acceptable to you, but you may proceed as you wish.
It was supposed to start in April. Did Israel ever stop bombing Lebanon?Tell me again when the ceasefire in southern Lebanon started, and when Israel violated it by continuing to bomb.

It looks like you've been taking debate ethics lessons from @Vol8188. There's no deflection. Pardon me for putting most of the blame on the party which kicked off the war and escalates when it looks like an armistice is near.Nice deflection from your failure to condemn Iranian/Iranian proxy attacks on Israel, and, by the way, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the US. it always seems like a chicken and egg argument from both sides. It was supposed to start in April. Did Israel ever stop bombing Lebanon?

You can take up Iran's actions against Bahrain and Kuwait with Iran. That may have something to do with their cooperation in attacks on Iran. You can also skip the bs of trying to speak for me on what is and isn't acceptable.
Just curious, why do you say they want a weak Lebanon? Is it they want a weak Lebanon or a Lebanon free of Hezbollah? A strong Lebanon could better control the terrorists and extremists like Hezbollah. Seems counterintuitive. It's hard to say. They want a weak Lebanon so they may have found another excuse.
Because they want to be able to exert control. It goes back to the 80's when they tried to put their buds in charge there. Syria and Hezbollah tried the same. It's why I say I wish Lebanon well in getting rid of both Israel and Hezbollah. Let Lebanon manage their own affairs.Just curious, why do you say they want a weak Lebanon?
