I've never played, but would love to. From everything I hear, it's incredibly expensive. Every car, track, etc. costs each time you get something.

That's what I've heard too, I think you get a basic set of tracks and cars when you first subscribe but have to pay to upgrade to new cars. Not really that good of a deal.

The only two series I'd be interested in racing would be Cup and Nationwide and maybe some trucks here and there.

Even if you buy a NNS or Cup car, you still have to work up to that license before you race them. The Legends cars are fun as hell.

I still race the old NASCAR Racing 2003 game. I only race offline but I think you can race in online leagues.
