Amazing that they were able to get away with the scam for so long.
Army is likely to try and maje an example of them. Retirement just took a bad turn for them.

This is the worst kind of SOBs. Taking advantage of fellow military members, imo, is the lowest form of life.

"In an affidavit seeking to search Kevin Pelayo and Cristine Fredericks' home in Killeen, a city near Fort Hood about 150 miles (240 kilometres) southwest of Dallas, investigators described how the couple allegedly used a transportation reimbursement program for federal employees to swindle the Army out of $2.3 million to $11.3 million."

I understand that it is an ongoing investigation but between 2.3MM - 11.3MM is kind of a broad range. Anyway, here's to hoping these dirtbags get a blanket party every night they are locked up.
