Before this season, the last 5 times we've had a 5 win season (2008, 2005, 1988, 1980, and 1978), the following season, we went to a bowl game. Here's to a bowl in 2012 or Jan. '13.:crossfingers:

Outside of the end of the world the team should make it to a bowl game. Everything is finally lining up for them to be successful mostly due to Dooley's re-building depth and recruiting the right type of players.

Recruiting and developing players are the lifeblood of any program and now we're starting to develop some well-needed depth. Things are definitely looking up and I think we'll have a very good season next year. It will be interesting also to see how we finish on NSD.

Yes, but only one of those seasons was a really good season.

And it should be a given that Tennessee plays in a bowl game next year.

That is so true,
we just have to be patient..
I do believe we have improve our coaching staff, plus still have 2 spots to feel.

This is the best off-season so far and its not ever FREAKING SIGNING DAY!!!!

unfortunately yes i watched and watched it twice. No more. do you really think that one game represents the immediate future? If so then take a course in parenting for supportive help training, pro football season tickets to be a valid complainer, and help an alien get citizenship for patience.:clapping: Go get em sport!

Apparently you didn't hear Dooley at his press conference last week when he said the worst is behind us. I believe him, we have a team loaded w/ Jr's next year, the UK loss didn't only hurt us fans, the players hurt for that one too. I think they'll have a fire about them this year.

Sorry to rattle so many cages. I to want to win them all, I went to all the games last year as I will this year but it seems that we have a long way to go. Never the less I wil be there doing my part
