They took the lead at one point. I think it was 31 to 30 when they took the lead but it didn't last long. This team is going to be a blast to watch. Its been a long time since we've had a hooper like Knecht. They had a chance to win? They never lead in the game, I don't see that logic, Knecht is a beast and a mismatch for any team. If future teams try to shut him down, the other players on UT will torch them.
In actual fact they never led. Knecht hit a shot that was called a 2 about a minute before Wisconsin went up briefly 31-30 (I think), but at the first dead ball time-out after that sequence, the refs reviewed Knecht's shot and revised it to a 3-point basket. So in reality, the score was 31-31 before UT retook the lead. They led for a few seconds by one
Knecht’s corner 3 was initially scored as 2 before another point was tacked on following a review. So I’m choosing to negate that one point lead they briefly had. They took the lead at one point. I mean yeah they were close enough to have a chance to win is what they mean. Hit a few more free throws and they probably have a chance for a last possession shot to tie or win. They had a chance to win? It was 54-53 at one point midway through the second half and they were on a 10-3 run. They got it back to 3 at 59-56 with 8 minutes to go as well. They definitely had a chance to win. Fortunately for us they couldn't make free throws or 3s.They had a chance to win? They never lead in the game, I don't see that logic, Knecht is a beast and a mismatch for any team. I thought that looked like a three. In actual fact they never led.
