Just saying. Cutcliffe worked miracles for Ainge.

Ainge was good from day 1. He had some really good games as a Freshman, throwing for 17 touchdowns, while splitting time with Schaeffer. The fact that he got hurt is a big reason why he struggled his sophmore year. I give Cutcliffe credit, but he didn't work miracles with Ainge. Ainge was good and deserves credit himself. Crompton...not so much.

Ainge was fully recovered his sophomore year, he just sucked and had lost all confidence. When Crompton filled in for Ainge he did pretty good. Then he took the reins and really blew last year. Just sayin maybe Lane can make him a decent QB. Nothing wrong with being optomistic.

I am interested to see how he does with someone that can actually coach him with an offense that he and everybody else gets. i think he can be decent this year

Don't know about the rest of you guys, but I'm tired of hoping just for a "decent" QB. We all know last year was tough, but it's a new era now. I want a QB that can light it up, I'm sure we all do. IMHO I don't think Crompton is that guy, even with good coaching. Stephens or Coleman? Possibly. They seem to at least have more upside than JC.
