Speaking of NIU, PF: "They're well-coached, and just, just didn't make mistakes."

So. . . .what does that say to us when the Vols seem to be giving up an awful lot of stupid penalties, dropped passes, fumbled hand-offs, and missed reads?

maybe we need to work like heck some more and look at some more film.:)

did he miss the 5 or so offensive penalties that NIU gave itself to stall drives in the second half - especially in the Red Zone?

That was probably due to their 3rd string QB. he played more in that game than the whole season. Their starter had to leave with 6 min. left in the 2nd, game tied at 3 and he was 10 of 15 for 83yds. Their 1st string QB was hurt the 2nd game of the season.

Everything's relative. Compared to the team they were playing.....Yes!:banghead2:

Before losing to UT, NIU was ranked #91 out of #119 teams in div 1 by cnnsi.com
