Anyone heard this?

Peyton Manning bought a home in Ooltewah, TN, just NE of Chattanooga, from John C. "Thunder" Thornton. For you who don't know "Thunder", UT recently named a building after him. (Thornton Center, or something)

Anyhoo, he lives about a 1/4 mile a way from me (yes, the home value can change that much in a short distance)

Peyton bought the home a couple of years ago in a neighborhood that "Thunder" was hoping would boom. Well, none of the other homes in the hood are selling.

After the Titans/Colts game, it is rumored that "Thunder's" wife got in a heated argument with Peyton. She blamed him for the developement problems, saying he "wasn't doing enough to promote the home sales" in the neighborhood.

Rumor? I have no clue.

Fact? If it is true, do you blame Peyton for the surrounding homes not selling? Should he be "selling" them for the Thornton's?

There might not be many houses in that neighborhood but the ones that are there are high dollar. They also have a nice clubhouse and pavillion where my wife has done a couple of weddings. They also have have community horse barn.
