Interesting - Cutcliffe to Texas?

Smart money is on Arch not being a bust.

There is a strong connection between Cut and QBs names Manning.

A stack of cash for getting Arch to go to Texas. That’s not a bad way Cut to ease his way into retirement.

Once Texas is in the SEC they should be on our schedule every year. Vols vs Horns is a natural rivalry in the making. Maybe we can play them more than once a decade.

Jimbo and Sark better perform, and perform quick
Is anything less than ten wins next year a Jimbo failure?
Same for Sark when you look at his schedule and where the big games are played.
Which one will have a stroke, a coronary or drinking problem first?
The pressure is on them like never before, and it should be

I'd sure love to see CJH find a way to bring coach Cut to Tennessee and us get Arch Manning as our QB.

In CJH O system with Arch Manning at QB we'd probably score 60 to 70 points per game.

Biggest problem then would be our D would be on the field 65% to 70% of the game and we'd need lots more good D players.

If CJH could get coach Cut to quickly agree to come to UT and then the 2 of them get Arch Manning to agree quickly to come to UT and announce that then we would probably have top recruits lining up to come play for us too.

Now, while I'm dreaming. I guess I'm also going to win the Powerball and die a rich man, LOL!

May as well dream big.

VFL...GBO!!!

Just what we need... playing bama, the other UT and UGA each year.
Bama and its SEC office minions will make sure Texas and a&m play each year, which they should. It's hard to imagine bammers in charge will allow bama to play Texas and a&m in the same year... maybe in 30 years when they can no longer pull of the Weekend at Bernie Nick's sideline trick. My guess they are really scared of big money and will try to make it very tough on Texas and a&m. That way Texas will play a&m and OU each year & a&m will play Texas and LSU every year. They won't worry about OU, Texas money will take care of that. They won't worry about LSU, except occasionally, and they will probably go to conference small group breakdowns that hurt LSU's presence in Texas recruiting.
The losers will be Ole Miss and Auburn in small divisions and scheduling. Lane won't care, he's knows his target job.
How bammers leverage out UGA will be interesting. They don't care what happens to Tenn, other than playing/beating us each year

There’s a lot of money out in Texas and Oklahoma. The Texas teams are a QB bust away from a HC change like Oklahoma.

I’m not saying A&M can’t generate $30 million a year budget to get recruits, but any stumble by Fisher is under the spotlight and too many stumbles and he will be out.

There is only 1 SEC Champ and only 1 NC, there will be millions of dollars paid to players that don’t win either.

How deep are the pockets that are paying for these championships?

Once NIL levels off, that will be the time for a players union, so the players can tap into the TV money.

the kid hasnt played a down of college ball and already has you all scared he maybe all world when he plays and he could also be a big bust. cool your heels untill he plays in college.
Funny, I was just thinking, "what if he's a total bust?" while reading all these posts.

Not likely, but possible.

He might not meet GENERAL expectations due to Peyton's and Eli's success, and it is probable that he NOT be a bust, but there is a lot of middle ground out there. The game has changed at the QB spot and I am not sure the uncles could duplicate their output in today's game either. Vision and instincts and processing speed will carry one a long way. I will wish him a healthy career wherever he goes and hope if we have to face him we are just better that day.
