How about a thread for best wishes to Xavier Mitchell?

Here's hoping he's not hurt as bad as it appears and for a speedy recovery. This theme of vicious injuries isn't pleasant and hopefully it doesn't continue.

But hey, I guess that was Coach Fulmer's fault too, eh?

Of course it was. He recruited him.

In all seriousness, we should all pray for any injured players. Their health is much more important than a game.

Yeah CPF said that he was moving and talking.
I hope the X man is ok. My prayers are with you big man.

Yes, prayers with Mr.Mitchell.

I do not agree with you, however, that Fulmer should be above criticism albeit respectful criticism.

Neither do I like the hilltop rambling about how he needs to put a for sale sign in his yard.

But tell me what you think of his coaching ability? I'd like to hear debate about it. I don't peruse these places much and personally I think he is a mediocre "coach."

Great recruiter but not a coach that puts any fear into his opponents with great preparation.

I'm open for correction always.

Well even a serious concussion could obviously end his season and put a damper on his young career. Granted as far as his health goes, that is likely easier than a jacked shoulder or neck.

Hopefully it was just one heck of a stinger and a concussion. It looked pretty bad.

You disrespect Xavier by starting a thread that is clearly meant to be a pro-Fulmer statement rather than a conveyance of best wishes.

You are exactly right. He isn't the coach he used to be and the times have seemingly passed him by. His "style" of game that he wants to run is still capable of working, but they aren't doing the proper things to make it work. He deserves criticism and perhaps isn't a top coach like he once was or we thought he once was......but losing to a team that is better than you is not your fault no matter who you are.

We are not as powerfull of a fan base to call for the coach to be fired. Only the NY Yankees can do that.

That's idiotic. But thanks for not even giving your best wishes and turning this thread into anti-fulmer spew. Even if it WERE intended to be a pro-fulmer thread.....God forbid he get any sort of respect or support, right? haha

I've sent my best wished (not that he'll see them) in other threads. Don't tell me I'm idiotic. There's not a single person in Volnation right now that thinks you have an IQ over 40.

Because I don't spew hatred towards our coach? LOL!!!

I have a low IQ because I'm not creating thread #20 about firing him? hahaha

That in itself is very intelligent.

Your understanding of the no-huddle offense is a good indication. As for starting threads, you've made several pointless threads lately.

When did we discuss the no huddle? Other than us using it to eat clock and change plays.......which is exactly what we did when Erik Ainge was a freshman and we DID huddle......

I've made very few threads. For you to think they're so pointless, you spend a lot of time posting on them.

very well said and I agree 100%. Cal was fired up tonight and full of energy. They looked great and if they can keep that up the rest of the year and get a little bit better on defense then they've got a real shot at a National Title.

When you do something like use a player's injury to advance your own opinion, I'm going to comment on it.

You're a simpleton.

That's funny. Keep arguing that a coach that's lost 10 games in the last 2 years is doing a great job. There's a reason no one is agreeing with you. This isn't a convention for the mentally challenged.

No they don't.There defense would be in the bottom third of the sec.Granted it might be enough for the pac-10,except usc.
