There was a lot great talent in TN this year. Does anyone know about next year's talent in TN? I know we got a TE from Maryville Aaron Douglas. Anyone Else?

Two key points of strategy:
#1 UT needs to get into Brentwood Academy and cut that pipeline to Auburn.
#2 Make a better showing in the Memphis area.

These two consistently produce SEC caliber players.

There are a few guys to watch for instate next year but I can only think of a few names. There are a few linemen and Chris Jordan(LB/RB), Rod Wilkes(ATH), and Douglas. I don't know if the class will be as talented as the 07 class but it should be good.

There is some pretty good O-line talent in the state. Cant remember all the names off hand. I will agree with HV and say that now, I dont think next years instate talent will be as deep as this years.

Khendall Lillard OL Eagleville

He is getting looks from Vanderbilt, Auburn, Georgia. Do not know if UT has seen any film on him.

I think there are some others in there as well but I dont have rivals or scout so I cant be certain. I think that Adams, and Ellis wont be pursued by UT unless they improve. They might be interested but I believe they are probably midlevel talent as of right now. JMO

He's 6'9" 315 but I've heard he is very soft. Could be a take anyways with our need for OL and potential. Barrett Jones could be awesome though, especially since he can play both ways.

Remember what Fulmer said a couple of months ago about changing the he recruits O-Line. Very rarely would he sign one that didn't play both OL & DL because of the agressiveness

Jonathan Ogden is 6'9". We are also looking at James Bennett from Alexandria, VA. He is 6'9" 280 and listed with a 4.9 40. Tell me those wouldn't be some bookend tackles.

Offensive lineman never play straight up and that is usually why the quarterback needs to tall as well. My coworker played tackle at Washington State and also for the Titans. He was a tackle at 6-6.

HV, on another note, do you know if we are actively looking at the running back from Bartlett, TN? Last name is Jones and dont remember what his first name is. He reminds me of a Travis Henry type of back. Shorter and stocky but with good speed as well.

I really don't know what RBs we are looking at for next year. We already have Poole committed and Lindsey should be coming out of JUCO. It isn't a big need for this class to boot so the guy will have to be very very good for us to push.
