1. Slows the game WAY down
2. They STILL get it wrong a big percentage of the time
3. They don't follow their own rules
----Sick of hearing about "indisputable evidence"
----Sick of hearing about "you must be able to see the ball to overturn a call" (oh yeah? Remember our Vandy game?)
----Sick of hearing that you can't review a play after the next play has been run. Has happened at least 3 times against UT in the past year or so.
Edited to add: When they screw this one up, you not only lose the yardage you lost to review AFTER the review should have been disallowed, but you also lose the yardage you gain on the 2nd play! I haven't watched the replay (not sure if I have the stomach for it), but it seems like them fouling up on this "rule" cost us a total of something like 30 yards in field position.
4. Just as open to tampering as before instant replay...maybe more so. And now they are calling Birmingham on vid replays? Sheesh.
5. Eliminating the human element is impossible.

Either junk it entirely (my preference), or set a time limit -- if they can't decide whether to overturn say in 30 seconds, then the call on the field should stand by default.

The call will always go against the Vols, or it sure seems that way

Instant replay is one of the best things to come along since the yellow line.

The replay you are referring to was buzzed in before the next play started.

They are killing me with what they consider to be a catch.

Looking at it in super slow motion compared to real time speed makes it easy to nit pick.

It needs to be like the NFL. Coaches challenges. Make the coaches think a little and not rely on the booth buzzing down.

I agree, but the replay headquarter is located in Bama. So yea, we won't be getting any going our way

That's the one part of replay that I don't like. The frame by frame stuff where they strain to see if the ball moves is ridiculous. It should be a little more difficult to overturn the call on the field.

Replay sucks, a guy in a recliner and remote control could do better. If it's not obvious don't stop the play.

Our loss to Ky had a bad call on a fumble, they reviewed and still got it wrong.

I think the call on the field should not influence the final call, unless they go to reviewing it at regular speed only. To slow it down to one frame at a time and then still get it wrong is pitiful.

It's not going away.

Agreed... Put the challenges all on the coaches and get rid of the booth initiated challenges except for the last 2 minutes.

I don't care when they claim it was buzzed in. Stop it before the snap or gtfo.

And use common sense about what is reviewable. For instance, UNC got screwed on a terrible ineligible receiver downfield call that replay showed was wrong. Why is that non reviewable but other subjective things like illegal forward pass, targeting, and where the ball gets spotted are reviewable?

We could get Al-Jazerra to help figure it out.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. It shouldn't be about overturning a call. The replay booth should not even know what was called on the field. Just look at the play with the benefit of several angles and slo mo and make the dam call!
