How can you be sure of that?

Was he on the ground or on his feet? Was he locked up with a blocker or was someone under him?

Was it on a block or a tackle?

If you don't know... sometimes it is sufficient just to say, "I don't know."
Just an educated guess from watching the game and the TiVo. But I stand on my ground. Cutblocking was not the culprit.

Demonte Bolden needs to step up and be the player we all know that he can be. I am sure that Chavis is lighting a fire under our D right now.

I am very sorry to hear about this. These young men play so hard and are trying to put themselves in a position to make a living, often with a lot of people depending on them, and then in one play, one hit, it can all be on the line. Sounds like Harrell is going to recover but Inky may be facing the end of a career. Let's hope that the medical providers do a great job and that his recovery goes well and he is back in Orange next year.

Classy post, man. :hi:

Personally I'm waiting on someone to blame the injuries on poor coaching.

Just head on over to firecoachfulmer.com and I'm sure you will see it.

Playing LSU, Bama, FL, SC, and GA I thought UT's schedule was difficult enough, without needing to add Cal and AF. Granted Cal probably wasn't expected to be that good, when they were scheduled to play UT a few years earlier.

Air Force came at a bad time after the big win at CAL and before the even bigger game at FL. Seeing players getting injured in the game, just reinforces that. I will restate that I would rather see UT schedule a couple of cupcakes and go into the Florida game at full strength instead of losing a couple of important players to injuries before going into arguably the biggest game of the year.

I would agree with this but people are just as likely to get injured playing a "cupcake" as any other team. I would rather have our team be tested and know what it is to have to play hard the entire game. I would definetly say UT is going to be more prepared to play a slugfest for 60 min right now than UF.

well that is news to me.

Guys, I think we are going to be fine, i hate the look past them getting hurt and I hope for a quick and painless recovery for both, but do you think they are sitting around talking about schedules or if they have ruined the season?

No, they are getting just as hyped for the Florida game as the rest of the team. Maybe the defense will dedicated this game to them and come out walkin on clouds.
