On SEC Coaches Teleconference:

Per John Brice:

@UTCoachJones: Jauan Jennings out indefinitely, no timetable yet. (Vickers, Berry) questionable. See how they go.

Evan might be the most injury prone player I have seen . He barely even plays and hardly gets tackled yet he is always injured

Losing those three will hurt, but if the staff will grow a pair and consider playing some of the youngsters, we might find some capable replacements.

I didn't hear anything on Austin Smith. So are we to assume that since Bituli moved to MLB that Smith is back or does Jumper move outside?

If we are moving back to our base 4-2-5, I hope it means Jumper has moved back to the bench.

Anyone at the game notice if they took Evan Berrys helmet after he tried to go back in ? Hope its not a concussion

could be why he doesn't get any time with the offense...he's a specialist, or least he sees them...just hope he can go against the Gators...need him to be healthy in his role...

GO VOLS!

Stop acting like he was the one responsible for us getting dominated on defense. He and Bituli accounted for 50% of the stops made Monday night.

Only 3/18 of Jumper's tackles were unassisted. That ratio tells me he is good at helping finish plays and jump on piles, but as a stout force that you can't get past by yourself in the middle maybe not so much...

Pretty sure you don't get tackle assist credit for jumping on a pile. Have to have a "significant contribution" to the tackle.

There's a reason we keep that stat, after all. It's not a participation trophy. :)

On the same token there is a reason they keep a stat of "solo" as well. Meaning they didn't need help.

UT staff is super mum when it comes to linebackers. Like it's some kind of big secret they don't want the media or the fans knowing until kickoff. Coach O at LSU didn't announce his suspended players against BYU until game day. Must feel they gain an advantage by keeping fans and media in the dark. Would love to see A.Smith back in action.
