The fallout from Tennessee's last football season will continue Tuesday when its mascot undergoes surgery.

Smokey, an 8-year-old blue-tick coonhound, will have knee surgery at the UT College of Veterinary Medicine. He suffered a partial tear of his right rear knee early last season.
