Bought a PS3 on impulse because it was only 199.99 on black friday and came with Uncharted 1, Uncharted 2, Infamous 1, Infamous 2 and Infamous Blood Festival.

Just at a curiosity, which is better and what games would you compare them to? They're both only one player, right? Was planning on playing through at least one of them with a roommate. Which one would you rather watch someone play if you were taking turns?

Uncharted is my second favorite series, after Assassins Creed. You're pretty much playing Indiana Jones (with more guns) and the nerd in me enjoys the semi-historical accuracy. I received Infamous as the "sorry we got hacked and your info was stolen" gift from Sony. I played about 5 or 6 hours of it before getting bored and haven't touched it since. Most people seem to like it, but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Okay...

I already have a 360 and the first 3 Halo games. Honestly, I'm not sure I would have got the third one if not for a friend buying it for me. He didn't have a 360 so he bought it for me when it came out just so he could play it.

Halo is alright but it's pretty much just the same thing over and over again. If it's the best game of the year, I could just play one of the first three and pretend like it's 4. Close enough.

I'll probably get it down the road at some point just to complete the collection but I plan on buying Assassins Creed, Black Ops, GTA and Max Payne before I do.

Halo 3 is not even close to being the same as halo 4. 343 studios is the new maker of halo instead if bungie. They have totally revamped the whole game and made it a whole new experience. I'd pay 100 for it. But I got it for a solid deal of 60. It's so much better than the new black ops. Which I have too. Online is better the action is better and the graphics are way better. Halo 4 all the way. If you do get it. Add me on live. It's Deadzeppelins. We can tear up some noobs.

It's really that much better?

I didn't realize they changed the maker.

I just got so used to the game that it all just started seeming the same. If the new maker made it better, it might be worth it. I see IGN gave it a 9.8. The thing about COD is, it's one game I've never bought for some reason. Not sure why because I love Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2. I figured COD is kind like that but better.

theyre 2 different types of games.. with that being said, the Uncharted series still blows Halo out of the water. Probally the best series of this gen and im a xbox fanboy

To the OP, I got the same deal you did but I haven't played any games yet. I put Uncharted in and played maybe less than 10 minutes. I stopped it because I wanted to see how the blue-ray would work & it's pretty powerful with the 1080p output. I'm sold on this PS3 for right now...very happy with it. I happened to be at Wal-Mart this afternoon & there's some good prices on the older PS3 games that came out in years past. Prices starting out like $19.99 or so. Amazon has them for a little cheaper.

Uncharted for sure. If you get a ps+ membership, I think one of the infamous games is a free download.
