There is no way this coaching staff should escape after this. It is just one embarrassment after another. I believe the players played their hearts out tonight, but they are just not prepared for success. We hired a I-AA coach, and we got an NAIA offense.

It would be one thing if we were only losing to UF, UGa and Bama, but Fulmer cannot even beat the bad teams. Let's face it, UCLA is terrible and Auburn is somewhere between mediocre and terrible. If Fulmer had just beaten the bad teams on the schedule, we would be 5-3 after tonight with a manageable schedule left. The problem is that if you keep losing to bad teams, it means, well, you are just plain bad yourself.

I want to say there is no way Fulmer survives after this, but if he pulls a 7-5 rabbit out of his hat (unlikely, but stranger things have happened), who knows? The best thing for everybody would be for him to make the anouncement this week. I am not holding my breath.

for fulmer to succeed, he needs great coordinators that can keep him in the dark at all times. unfortunately for him and us, clawson can't even find the stadium much less a light switch.

Any coach associated with Fulmer needs to go with him. My patience of "is it Fulmer or is it the OC" is over. Clean them all out.

clean them all out. clawson's offense looks like the same offense i have seen for years all flash and no heart. i have never seen a ut offense that sad.

You cannot deny that the effort was there, at least early on. "Stupid" does not equate to lack of effort, it equates to playing dumb, which, unfortunately, is something this team does all too well.

I have just one request. All of the loyal Fulmer supporters please just shut the hell up for at least a week. Forever would be better but I'm just gonna take what I can get.

I don't think I see any Fulmer supporters in this thread.

In no way, shape, or form am I sticking up for Fulmer or the coaches, I'm just saying that they can only do so much our players have got to go out and execute and offensively we are horrific. Our defense did play their hearts out for awhile until they got worn down to a point where they figured what was the point because our offense wasn't going to do anything.

This last part sounds too much like "they gave up". I know from personal experience that when your offense can't keep you off the field to take a few deep blows sooner or later your tank will be empty and you have no leg left.
