Has to be one of the greatest bands ever. I find solace in nearly everyone of their songs. Especially when I have relationship issues. I just sit and listen.

the older stuff is ridiculous, i love it.

certain shade of green acoustic is one of the most beautiful acoustics in history.

i'm not impressed with the new stuff either. i liked the first four though. morning view was really smooth.

megalomaniac was terrible

word.

i was a huge fan up until A Crow Left of the Murder... after that, i didn't give the next album much of a chance, but S.C.I.E.N.C.E and Make Yourself are INCREDIBLE albums. i couldn't even begin to name a favorite song either, but Stellar and Are You In? come to mind.

both When Incubus Attacks (Vol. 2) and Morning View Sessions (and a good album) are great DVDs and worth the purchase.

their live show is great as well. i've seen them play everything from small clubs to large festivals and amphitheaters. i hated that Brandon Boyd ALWAYS took his shirt off, but whatever. there was always a lot of tail running around at their shows.

such a great band. thanks for reminding me it's time to get the CDs out and give them a listen again.

you never got any of that tail.

i saw them in 99 with the deftones at civic. they opened. completely blew deftones outta the water. this was before morning view, so they were still playing fungus amungus and science. good stuff.

i almost always took my own to the show. trust me, it wasn't hard finding ladies to go see Incubus with.

good music attracts good looking women. it's a scientific fact.

i was at that show. the deftones were terrible. incubus was incredible.

make yourself is a great album. prolly in my top 10.

deftones are terrible in concert. Incubus, on the other hand, are incredible. I've seen them a few times. Saw them once at Ozzfest, right after Brandon cut the dreads, and everyone was complaining that they had sold out because of it. Funny stuff. S.C.I.E.N.C.E. is an awesome album!! I like Enjoy Incubus as well.

Sweet, an Incubus thread. I am also a huge fan of theirs. I like the older stuff too. The last album was not as good as i would have expected from them but even their worst stuff is better than most bands best stuff. i have the Red Rocks DVD and the drum solo was the sh1t. I guess it wasn't a solo since Ben Kenney was playing his set and Brandon was playing the bongos. Good stuff. Any 311 fans?

I've only heard a few of their songs that I like: Drive, Wish you were here, and Stellar. I really like those though. What other songs do they have, that you recommend listening to? Pardon me is pretty good too.

like i said above, it's hard for me to recommend certain songs because i think they're whole catalog is awesome. those three certainly are some of their bigger hits.

start with the early stuff and just work your way up from there. and like we've all said, you can quit once you get to A Crow Left of the Murder...

Certain shade of green
Vitamin
Summer Romance
Pendulous Threads
Pardon Me
The Warmth
I miss you
Just a Phase
Are you in

Crowded Elevator
Here in my room
Southern Girl

I looked up a few to remember the names but all these are good and most all their songs are.

i remember going to see them in ATL in 02 or 03 and they basically played all songs from Make Yourself and Morning View. they played A Certain Shade of Green and all the kids were looking at each other like "wtf is crap".

the avg. age in the crowd was probably 17-19. that's when i realized from then on, i was going to be the older people at the concert and not the younger.

I love 311, those albums are classic. I'm not sure i can pick one over the other between those two albums. They haven't had a new CD since 2005 and it was my least favorite album they've made.

QFT

This almost exactly explains my thoughts on them. We saw them open for Primus at The Tabernacle in Atlanta. Great show. Saw them again in Nashville at Municipal. Not as good, but still a rockin' show. I still only listen to S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and Make Yourself.

Light Grenades sucks, but I still love me some A Crow Left of the Murder. Everything before that is amazing.

Dang their early stuff was good. They're super talented from a technical musical standpoint. It's fun to listen to them.

I am a huge fan of theirs. They have been my favorite band for a long time. I have seen them play 4 times. I like their old stuff, but their new stuff has to grow on you. On the Crow Left of the Murder album, it is hard to beat "sick sad little world"...absolutely sick solo. I have a total of 14 cd's, including live and never released material. I also have all their DVD's they have ever published. I guess you could say I like them too much. Nice to see someone put a post like this

Looks like an Incubus avatar you have. I ordered the live in Japan cd off their website when it first came out too. It was pretty good, came with a poster and all.

Broke out the SCIENCE CD last night. Man, I forget every time how good that CD really is. It gets better with age.
