I don’t think you understand what a floor is. We could absolutely lose to Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, don’t think I have to explain much there. Syracuse won 10 games last year. We lost to Arkansas last year. We were up one possession late in the 4th quarter against Kentucky at home, when Heupel has won two nailbiters in his trips to Lexington. OU will probably be improved.

I don’t think we go 5-7. But if the worst case scenario arises, 5-7 is a possibility, i.e., a floor.

We will get a better idea after the Syracuse game. They think they have a good team this year and expect to beat us. I don’t see them being that big a deal but you never know and it’s why you play the games.

With the unknown QB situation and Dbacks a question, no one knows how to rate this team for next season. Have to work their way into the rankings and have the schedule to do it.

For me, UGA in week 3 will be the tell sign. Top 5 team in talent, at home, but itll show what they’re made of. We should and could have beat them last year, so you’d think this year at home and first conference game, they’d have a chance. But with the QB situation, could be A LOT worse

I think the preseason poles are bs, so it doesn't make any difference to me. but I said no.

we typically aren't a team that gets the media hype. while some others who don't deserve to be ranked do/will.

The CFB Playoff committee has already said they count losses, not SOS...SEC will be screwed if they go to 9 SEC game schedule...8 more losses in the conference, one SEC team less likely to get in unless guaranteeing us 4 slots.

This year OU will be a far better team than '24...Mateer was the best QB transfer available...they really improved likely got 5 starters from the portal.
