I just got home from a 4 day stay at the hospital with my wife who gave birth to our son. next door to us for 2 of those days was a young man with enough Vol athletic department garb to live off of for about a month. Every article of clothing was always orange and some defined "football" as the sport he was involved in. He with certainty had the football look to him, very determined, focused and a football build. He looked like a very nice young man and his son was cute as hell. His door asked for no visitors so I assumed while in the hallway he'd appreciate the same courtesy.

Congratulations whoever you were.

With all of the smack and beatdown talk...Sometimes the SEC takes care of its own...Thanks!

You are one that recognizes the importance of our rivalry and playing North Dakota the 3rd Saturday in October wouldn't bring anything to look forward to...and most of all, its just a game with young men moving out into a big world.

Thanks Again!

This title is very misleading. I was under the impression that a Vol player broke his neck in practice or something and had to be rushed to the hospital.

Don't scare me like that! My heart can't take it!

Thank you for your wishes, your prayers would be appreciated as well though. We came home today but not with our son. He remains in the NICU at the hospital. He's doing better but there were some rough days there.

My twins were there for about 100 days. Incredible care. PM me if you have questions.

Hey buddy, been there done that. My son was born at 25 weeks and for those that dont know, 40 is full term. He was 1lb 6oz. He spent 75 days in the NICU at UT Medical Center and still to this day don't know how we made it without loosing our minds. Who cares what color we wear, all football aside.. if you need anything private message me and ill give you my number, sometimes talking to someone who has been there before helps. If you want to see him today, check him out on Facebook. My name is Phillip Troutman....ill accept you as a friend. He is a rockstar and your son will be one too!

25 weeks...!!! unreal. I don't know how you did it. Probably the same way each parent deals with heartache with their children in danger... by the grace of God the day ends and the next one begins with him or her still here.

As for Elijah. Sarah and I just went to see him and we held our son for the very first time. It killed me to let him go. We needed this tonight.
