In state recruiting

While I was an underclassman at UT, Playboy didn't rank UT in this poll because Playboy said they didn'r rank "professionals".

I have to say that I'm a little disappointed with the instate recruiting. A kid from my old high school just committed to Vandy this week. I don't know if Dools recruited him or not, but it would have been nice to see him go to the Vols.

How many stars? What position? Measurements/speed?Who else was after him? Inquiring minds want to know.

I remember that!!! They came out with the list & UT wasnt on it....someone asked why & they said "we dont rank professionals with amateurs!!!"

DING DING DING. You are correct Volboy81. And these whipper snappers today think they know how to party. They had nothing on us back in our day.

There are probably still "Wanted Posters" down there looking for me and my 4 speed hotrod terrorizing the campus streets from 40 years ago. Well, that and tearing the walls out of Reese Hall, and they were concrete block. We threw more stuff out of the windows in the back of Reese Hall than Tyler Bray has ever held in his hands. Campus cop cars were prime targets.

Looking back, it may seem a bit immature, but beer and testosterone flow fast and deep in a dorm. After a few blasts, we would do anything on a dare.
