James Franklin is a freakin punk and I'm tired of hearing about him.. It's time we land some more of these in-state recruits and show our little brothers that we still own them. What are y'alls thoughts on why we haven't landed more yet? Vandy can kiss my big orange arse.. Go Vols!

We don't need to show them because we already do own them. Starting a thread on Vandy is a great way to stop hearing about Saif Franklin.

I'm just frustrated man.. I know I shouldn't have to mention their sorry excuse of a team.. I guess these 6 win seasons have been takin their toll

To each their own I guess. Last few seasons have definitely taken a toll, but not enough of a toll to give a damn about them.

I really can't understand why people actually spend time talking Vandy on this board.

They recruit against us, they are an instate rival, they are an SEC rival, they don't like us, we don't like them, their coach is a douchenozzle. Plenty of reasons.

I think a 50-2 beat down in their backyard this year is what's needed, JMO. An EPIC MAULING on UK is a must as well....sorry off topic, just venting.

They usually recruit well below us, they are in state, they are in the SEC, they don't like us, we don't care about them, their coach is a douchenozzle. Plenty of reasons.

Slightly different version as I see it.

Damn! And now I'm guilty of talking about Vandy. Carry on.

The best thing to do concerning van-dee is not acknowledge them at all. That is how insignificant they are to us. Besides being in the same state we share nothing else in common.
They can talk academics all they want but last I looked our alumni donate more and more often, so in the real world vs. academia what good is that argument for them. They lack the devotion, emotion, and allegiance that exemplify what it means to have pride in their school and more so, their community.
Van-dee kids are like the kids sent off to boarding school when they are 7 years old, UT kids have family that love them and don't need to send their kids' off to be raised by others. We are family at UT while Van-dee are displaced and pushed away brats ever searching for approval from their dismissive family. There are bonds that exist between all of us and our UT, while van-dee is remiss of any of these bonds.

Seriously? You're not gonna be mad if we give up a safety? It's freaking Vanderbilt, man.

Very well stated! :clapping:

Vandy isn't beating us on in-state recruits.
The last 2 years we have taken who we want and let them have the scraps.
Don't know where you are getting your info, but we have higher ranked in-state kids.

50-2? I'd rather give them a field goal from 50+ out and give up 3 points than let their sorry arses pull a safety on the offense we'll have this year.
