Some players just play different when the lights come on. Always seemed to me he was trying to win the game on every down, but when things went south his body language, and FACIAL EXPRESSION were horrible. The busted play at Alabama last year makes me think he wanted to pull off the Naked Bootleg play that Manning did at UA, only difference was that Manning would have never done that looking at the Defensive front JG was that night .
But the facial expression always got me, starting at the GaTech game his freshman year and way into this year, when things went against him, his face always had the look of the little brother who had been held down and farted on by his big brother!!
