i felt like the bryce brown thread was being hi-jacked by a ridiculous discussion about the university of oregon. so i'm starting this thread so that we can all discuss how these uniforms have set college football back 15 years.

They look a helluva lot tougher than the Vols did last year.

Yeah, screw companies with the audacity to make uniforms featuring a team's colors that were designed (with a blessing from said school's athletic department) by the student athletes themselves. The nerve.

What will these guys think of next, red and black sneakers with a Michael Jordan logo designed to target those in the 18-30 yr old male demographic?

regardless of how they were designed they are ugly as hell.

If you look under "Media" you'll notice that 6 games were televised on either ABC of FSN. Those are possible nationally televised games. Anything on OSN wasn't nationally televised, nor were FSN Northwest. As for Versus, that's a cable channel that isn't available all over the country so you can't really count that one either.

That's Tennessee. Unfortunately, they make you click on each one to find out what they were televised on. Three were Pay per view (Northern Illinois, Miss. St., and Wyoming) and 2 were regional (UAB and Vandy). The other 7 were televised nationally on ESPN/CBS. Tennessee had more nationally televised games. Period.

Thanks emainvol. I like that they change their uniforms frequently. The ones pictured above are great, imo. But, they've been around for a while and we're ready for a new round. Apparently, they will be launching a new design in 2010.

I really like the white Oregon unis. Especially with the white helmet. The green ones are pretty sharp too. The metal flake in the green helmets really set them off.

it's something different and that bothers people.

are you crazy...my comment about boy george had nothing to do with the fact that he was a homosexual and everything to do with this

I agree. The Oakland Athletics back in the day were mocked similarly for their uniforms. But, they eventually changed uniforms across the entire league.

I see some similarity there. One person said their ugly. Then, it just became the popular thing to say. The important thing is that recruits like them. And they do. The kids know whats up.

dude i promise you your statement will have no impact on me whatsoever, but if you think that you can accuse me of shooting at minorities and sleeping with my sister and not illicit a response then you really are crazy.
