We hate Dooley, but I hate him far less than our last coach. Dooley was given a head job at a huge school too soon, because he seems to have no issues with positions in the NFL. I think he will be a fine OC (just fine, not great necessarily but who knows) but I'm not sure about him as a QB coach instead of a WR/TE/Special Teams coach.

I don't wish Dooley to do bad, but I do wish lyle to never have a job at a power 5 school again.

If Dooley hadn’t followed the Kiffin debacle and been followed by Lyle, I’d look on him much more fondly- at least for the lulz. Dooley should’ve been amusing brain fart by the administration that we could laugh at in hindsight for the disaster he was, like Bama fans and the Mike Price-Mike Shula Era.

If we ever recover, I can forgive Dooley. He couldn’t help it that he was special. He was born that way.
