I want to start by saying that I am a Derek Dooley supporter. I think he has the right mindset this team needs to not only become a great competitor on the field again, but good men as well. It hurts me so bad to see a Tennessee team that just can not get that win that will put them back on the track to becoming what we used to be. I do not understand sometimes how we can not get it together! I think," wow guy, do you see the love around you that these fans bring eveyweek! Where is the drive to winning?" but then i think, (as most the posts have been since the GA loss) why are we as fans throwing so much hate at a coach and a team after a simple loss.? sure, we all want to win every game and we all want to think we know what is best, but maybe what is best for us as fans is to sit back and have pride in being a TENNESSEE VOLUNTEER no matter how our guys and coaches perform.... This is my team, and I could never cheer for another! plain and simple. Maybe we as fans need to take a look at ourselves and rethink some of our ill considered words.... Go Vols.

Patience my good man. Put it this way, we hung in and had a chance against UF. We hung in and had a fighting chance against GA, even though our offense really looked terrible. We'll hang in and have our chances throughout the rest of the season. It sucks to lose but when CDD gets his signature win the worm will turn in a hurry. Our expectations for this years team were perhaps to high. Really young, no breaks going our way, refs were torrid yesterday. These young kids will remember this game and use it to their advantage. GBO.

I am not in favor of firing CDD. That would put us back 4 more years. Actually I haven't read many people on here that's seriously saying that. Most are saying what I'm saying. I haven't seen any significant improvement of this team this year. The kicking game is still the pits, we can't stop anyone of any significance, the passing game is better but on the other hand, the running game disappeared. Special teams is still not where it needs to be, our QB has to chew the coaching staff out because they can't get a play in time. When they do, it's a run play up the middle that has already been stopped and has lost a total of 15 yards during the game. I guess my question is where is the proof that we are improving like some of ya'll say we are? Give me concrete facts, not just opnions. We all have one of those.

Just young. There is improvement if you look, although minimal. Got 2 good but young linebackers that will pass on the school of hard knocks lessons. Bray WILL work his butt off in the offseason. Kid hates loosing, field goals, and punting and this I pray will make him want Manning like ownership of the game. I believe coach will let him do it too once he does it in practice mistake free. Back and recievers are gonna be experienced for the next 3 years. We have to have older guys and the only way is time. Dooley inherited none.
